An update

I hit level 20. Yeah. Oh my god. Whenever I have to study a lot, I end up being indoors and at my computer anyway, and study breaks are essentially playing this game. Suffice it to say, I took many breaks over the last week. Ironically, now that I have free time, I will be spending it with family and friends and thus will not play as much. That will give a chance for everyone to catch up.

Our current goals are 1. gather the 10g to make a guild and then make it, and 2. To have a good number of us reach about level 18, when we can do our first instance run together in either Ragefire Chasm or Wailing Caverns.

Waiting for everyone to catch up will give me ample time to see my friends and do other real-life oriented things! Level up faster, dammit =)

Also, Matt and Lee, where are you guys? I haven't heard back, and we're all looking forward to kicking it WoW style as a happy family.

I can't fucking sleep

So I've been reading for the past three hours, and my eyes hurt. I'm updating this and then I'm going to try to sleep. I read Lee's comment, so here are the names of characters that have been created.

Gogol - My Druid
Theatrerick - Rick's Shaman
Imsopretty - Jesse's Shaman
Mircalla - Joanna's Shaman
(Yeah.. no more shamans please)
Dwightshroot - Alex's Warlock
Anyankah - Sun's Rogue

Comment here if you've made a character that isn't listed, I'll update as time goes on.

What classes we need most, by my own opinion of a balanced group, goes like this:

1. Warrior
2. Priest
3. Hunter/Mage
4. Rogue (Since Sun said he won't be fully participating)
5. Warlock/Druid (we have one of each)
6. Shaman (DO NOT MAKE ANOTHER SHAMAN)

No More Shamans (Shamen?)

If you can't not play one, we can work it out, but as it stands, we have more shamans than non-shamans. Please consider one of the other 7 classes =P.

First post!

Welcome! Since we don't have any sort of forum to discuss things, Jesse and I pretty much made decisions. We are set up on Horde side, Dragonmaw server. Horde are outnumbered by a decent margin there. It is an uphill battle, true to the mission statement of Theatre Rice.

Sorry to those who had characters on other servers. In the spirit of fairness and starting anew together, we decided it would be best to be on an entirely new one. So far though, it seems like the community on this server is quite mature and friendly on both sides, more so than the ones I've been on before.

Thus far, the people in our little clique are, in no particular order:

Me
Lee
Rick
Jesse
Sun (limitedly)
Alex Choi
Matt Akana

At least, these are the TR people. I know Jesse and Alex each have a friend that expressed interest.

To have a well-balanced group, we will need all types of classes, though not necessarily one of each. At the bare mininum, we need a healer and a warrior. The remainder can be whatever, but variety is better. Thus far, Jesse has a shaman and I have a druid. Healing is then decently covered, but for high-level instances, having a priest makes things much easier. Sun has a rogue, but he said that he probably won't be playing much with us. Alex made a warlock. Someone please be a warrior!

In other news, Jesse, her friend Joanna, and I were running around in some caves as Christmas gnomes (there's a machine that does that to you for Christmas!). One very nice guy seemed to be amused, and he gave us each 10g. That's 30g! Holy snapples. This does make for a very nice guild fund, but I think it would be a good idea to use part of that money to twink us out with good gear, rather than make a guild immediately (it costs 10g to do that). 10g will come easily later on anyway.

Okay, that's it! Please tell me your name when you do sign on. My last final is Monday, so between then and when I leave town right after Christmas, I hope to see you in the game!
