For some reason I find myself standing on top of the bank in ogrimmar yelling at the top of my lungs for someone to take pity on me and heal my broken heart. Just like Blizzard to commemerate V-Day by making me shout out generic emo lyrics.
apparently the only real lasting benefit to doing the quests is you have a chance whenever you give a love token to an npc when you don't have the "adored" debuff, the package you get has a low-chance of containing a Kwee Peddlefoot permanent pet. Though the pet is BoP, the package is not, and you can sell them for much money I believe.

And what the hell are "love tokens"? I feel dirty running around to strangers and trying to coax items out of them...
For that matter... I kind of feel dirty just saying the word "coax". There's something scanadlous about it.
