cow took kotonoha on a quick tour of sfk and sm graveyard. no torturing poker, but i did score some watchman pauldrons!
cow also got kotonoha her poisons! woooo!
later i was goofing off in the sm graveyard also...
today i actually ran shadow labs twice. both times were with members of the strange box guild... though strangely enuf with different members each time. they're good folks and we mopped up the place. leggings of assassination dropped twice, but no bold in sight. oh well, completed the quests and got a fat wad of cash out of it.
my questing in shadowmoon has been slow but steady... unfortunately i'm again left with a huge chunk of group quests... where are you bbqers? :P
i hate fighting elementals so much. damn unmitigated damage. well, i guess in that respect earth elementals are ok... but lotsa them have other annoying abilities -_- knockdownsplitupondeath bastards...
also ran botanica a while back... again, no bold armor, but it was fun to get to know the instance.

--kotonoha could really use a new dagger. a torturing poker would be nice (boss in sm graveyard, 5% drop, but it will prolly take only about 3-5 minutes per attempt). swinetusk shank from rfk would also be a nice offhand upgrade.
--nayuki could use a couple runs thru sfk :D

Yeah I'm always down for the BC instancing. I need Shadow Labs and Black Morass runs badly. Especially now with the new patch, I'm itching to try out my new spec. Even if I'm not on, send me an AIM if you're trying to get a group together. If I'm free, I'll definitely hop on.
As for Kotonoha, I can run you for T. Poker a bunch of times. I also don't think the Swinetusk Shank is that great for offhand... For solo PVE, you shouldn't be needing to stack stam that much right now.
hmm yeah i see your point for swinetusk... however i didn't really see any other fast daggers in my lvl range with better stats (and one that doesn't have a gouge breaking dot...)... i'll have to do an item search to make sure wow-loot didn't miss somethin...
or, as an ambush rogue, should i consider a sword/mace oh? i just assumed my regular dmg was so gimp i should just focus on fast poison application. meh, much to learn...
oh man, i forgot to mention i got in some nice altercations in hillsbrad. one day an unlucky hunter found herself on the otherside of my dagger like 4 times. she was only 24 so i had like 5-6 lvls on her. my crit ambush took off 2/3 her life. she was grinding in an area i kept passing so i kept killing her. also took down a shaman with some other hordies later that day.
yesterday i saw a 24 horde hunter running down the road... he was taken down by a 31 rogue who went into stealth before i had a chance to help the hunter... but then a sec later a 26 warrior or somethin came down the road also, and the rogue popped out to gank him... i was able to get a crit ambush off and bs, but then he gouged and bandaged... i stupidly let him restealth and he got his opener off on me... but it only took off like 30% health! muwhahahaha. then i killed him real sloppily over the next 30 seconds ^^;

How's your gold looking? The best offhand you can probably get at your level is the BOE Vendetta . Despite having lower dps than the Shank, it's faster, and the 6 agi improves your MH crits. Unless you go at least 20 pts into combat, you should focus on the stats of your OH and almost ignore the dps.
Even though I myself am a huge fan of weapon swap specs in the 50-68 level range, at your level and with your build you will get double-duty from talents like Opportunity if you open with Ambush and use gouge->ambush as your regular attack. Additionally, it's fewer items to carry/enchant, etc., plus, as you've pointed out, Ambush->BS is quite possible in PVP encounters, and is really, really fun. You're also pretty close to getting Kidney Shot, which makes timing those backstabs a lot easier.
